Whether you’re still thinking about starting a business, or you’re well down the road of entrepreneurship, BIZ CUBE exists to provide the “scaffolding” that all businesses require to be successful. This is why we offer you a place to call your business home, as well as the services you need to incorporate and stay compliant with Oregon statutes and regulations.

In 2024, Tea Godfrey, the owner of Solid Serve Legal (and the owner of BIZ CUBE), decided to “fix” one of the biggest issues she saw in the Metro Area for entrepreneurs of all types – the challenge of finding a registered agent AND a flexible office space in the local area that was affordable, accessible, and human-centered.

Until now, if you wanted a registered agent in the Portland area, you were limited to using a law firm (and stuck with the prices that go with that option). Almost every other registered agent in the state of Oregon is located in the Salem area. Why does that matter?

To some business owners, it’s important to be able to see and talk to a live human being. To have the phone answered by a live human. And to be able to walk into their agent’s office, if necessary, and find a happy and helpful person ready to assist.

Beyond the registered agent issue, most virtual and flexible office space in the metro area – the kind that allows businesses to use their address on government forms – often present exorbitant pricing. How are newly hatched businesses supposed to be able to grow when the costs are so high?

Thus was born BIZ CUBE. We personalize your experience. We don’t use automated door locks or digital receptionists. We have at least one full-time staff member onsite at all times. We can help you with the printer, the coffee machine, or answer any number of other questions on the spot. No waiting!

The BIZ CUBE logo represents groundedness and stability that you can build on. On a more esoteric level, the cube is one of the Platonic solids, known in ancient times to represent earth and growth.

Our CEO

Tea Godfrey has a long background in both the legal and the business worlds. Before she launched her first business (Solid Serve Legal), she worked as a litigation paralegal and in several other roles at various law firms. She also spent over a decade as marketing and business coach and is engaged and active in many community organizations and associations. She is also the current president of the Oregon Association of Process Servers and a member of the North Clackamas Chamber of Commerce, among others.
